FIRST TIMER’S REPORT - JAMIE An astrology chart is a picture of where the planets were when you were born. The chart, or horoscope, describes your potential, your roadmap, your compass for this lifetime. It shows what lessons you have to learn, what skills and abilities, problems, and opportunities you have. It shows challenges, but it also shows opportunities, blessings, and directions you should take in order to be happy. Let’s start with the Sun Sign. Having Virgo as a Sun Sign (instead of one of the other eleven) is both a challenge AND an opportunity! Each sign contains both. So the challenge of being a Virgo is to figure out a way to make things make sense! You have to have a job that makes sense and is meaningful and worth getting up for in the morning. You have to have a relationship and a life that fits together and that you can count on. A Sun Sign shows what you’re becoming in this lifetime – it’s a journey; it’s not something you automatically get when you’re born. It’s a path you should be taking in this lifetime in order to be happier. Having the Sun in the sign of Virgo means that you want to do everything you can to get your work and everyday life in order, make it meaningful. That does definitely NOT mean your work needs to be boring, or that your work needs to be your life! In fact, you need a job that is NOT boring, because you are very, very restless. (MOON IN GEMINI) You also need a job that lets you deal with people, because you’re a good people-person. (VENUS IN LEO, SUN PLUTO IN 7TH HOUSE). That’s the meaning of having your Sun Sign in the seventh area of your astrological chart – the area that has to do with marriage and with the public. You are not a loner, and hopefully are in a good relationship and don’t live alone. You are not a loner – you definitely need people. It’s fairly easy for you to get depressed about things, especially now. (TRANSITING SATURN SQUARE NEPTUNE RULER OF 1ST HOUSE, NATAL SATURN JUPITER IN 12TH HOUSE, TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT ASCENDANT). Ideally, you would turn to religion or new age teachings rather than drugs or drinking. Although you may think you need to escape from the pressures of the everyday life, what you actually need is an everyday life that makes sense to you so you don’t feel like escaping from it! (JUPITER CONJUNCT SATURN 12) It’s very important with your chart to set goals for yourself. In particular, you want to figure out before Fall 2004 what exactly you want out of life, because you’re likely to get it if you know what you want and you’re starting to believe you deserve it! For starters, you’re due in Fall 04 for successful relationships and a career opportunity, so that’s nice to see. (T JUPITER CONJUNCT MERCURY RUELR 4 IN 7, T SATURN OPPOSE SATURN JUPITER, T URANUS OPPOSE SUN, SA JUPITER OPPOSE SUN, SA MOON CONJUNCT VENUS). The MOON Sign shows what you bring to this lifetime, unlike the Sun Sign that shows what you’re working on becoming. Your Moon is in the sign of Gemini – which means that you need to have OPTIONS in order to be happy. You would do well to do TWO jobs, just to relieve boredom! You are happiest when you’re busy! All of the planets in your chart show character traits, and challenges. Mercury, for example, is the planet having to do with how you think. It’s in the sign of Virgo also, which means you’re very hard on yourself, very self-critical. You need to keep in mind that your expectations of yourself are far harsher than other people’s expectations of you. Venus is the planet of relationships, and also the planet of what you value. In your case, it’s in the sign of Leo, which means you’re very personable, you like people, you like to have a good time, and ideally your job would involve working with people rather than papers at a desk. It also means that in a relationship, you need someone who makes you feel good about yourself, someone who gives you appreciation and pats on the back for what you do and who you are. Each of the twelve pie-shaped areas in the horoscope represent one area of your life. The first area has to do with you personally, how you come off to others, how you present yourself to the world. In your case, you are quite a unique and unconventional person. (AQUARIUS ON 1ST HOUSE). The second house has to do with your finances and your self-esteem. You do better with both finances and self-esteem when you’re in a committed relationship. (ARIES ON 2ND, MARS IN LIBRA 8TH). The third house deals with early education, and how you communicate to others. You are very gregarious, very pleasant to be around. (VENUS IN LEO RULING TAURUS 8TH). Sometimes you don’t believe that, so you don’t let yourself be close to people, or let them know how you’re really feeling. That’ll change for you next year, as you let other people see more of who you are. You actually have management ability (JUPITER AND SATURN IN CAPRICORN SSQ SUN IN VIRGO), but you don’t let yourself believe that. You have the opportunity this next year to re-invent yourself. (TRANSITING URANUS OPPOSE SUN) The fourth house has to do with what kind of home life you need. And that’s a home with other people, since you have the MOON in this area, in the sign of Gemini. You are not a loner. The fifth house has to do with hobbies and what you do for fun. You like being with other people; again, you’re not a loner. The sixth house is the house of work, and you need people at work to treat you like you’re part of the family. (CANCER ON 6TH HOUSE). That’s far more important to you than the money. You’re a very sensitive man who doesn’t always let others see how easy your feelings are hurt. You have to lighten up on yourself, and not let other people get to you, and not let your own perfectionism get to you. Learn to settle for 80% and call it good! You would also do well to work in an environment that cares for people (hospitals, social services, homeless shelters) etc where you can talk with people, share your deep feelings with people, and feel like you make a difference. That’s very important for you. (SUN CONJUNCT PLUTO, JUPITER CONJUNCT SATURN 12TH HOUSE). Maybe you might want to think about volunteering? You would be great in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, or working at one of the homeless shelters . The seventh house is the area of marriage, and in your case, this area is loaded with planets, indicating that other people are very important to you. Having a lifelong partner is very important to you. You are in a very good relationship cycle for the whole next year. January 04 shows as a very important time for you concerning relationships. Be sure to take the time and energy to share your feelings with your partner, let her know what your hopes and dreams are! (SA VENUS=SUN/MOON) The 8th house has to do with how you deal with other people – in power struggles, sexually, and in intimate relationships. You under-value what you’re capable of in business, and generally, so you pretend not to care about things. The 9th house is the area of life philosophy, religion, college. If your schooling was interrupted, you actually may decide to take some classes and improve your skills during this next year. It’s a good idea, so you would boost your selfconfidence. (SA JUPITER OPPOSE SUN) The 10th house is the area of career, public standing, how the community perceives you. They see you as a very free spirit, someone who doesn’t want to settle down. (SAGITTARIUS ON 10th HOUSE). You actually have lots of career goals that you don’t verbalize very often, to others, or to yourself. If you decide to take some risks and go for it, you’d actually be very successful. You’d be well suited for something involving travel, law, or as we said earlier, something involving helping other people in some way. (JUPITER IN 12TH HOUSE). If you get an opportunity that somehow involves traveling, it’s a great idea for you. (SA JUPITER=SUN/PLUTO). You’re very good at talking with people – if you could somehow use that in your career, it’d be great for you. The 11th house is the house of friendships, which you value very much but have a hard time keeping because you’re hesitant about really sharing much of yourself with others. The 12th house is the area of secrets, things you feel guilty about, things you want to escape from. Escapism is pretty strong in your chart – how are you doing with that? It’s pretty much a waste of all the talent you have.
